Our technologies

Digital radiography

Digital radiography is a form of X-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. Advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images. In addition, less radiation can be used to produce an image of similar contrast to conventional radiography.

Instead of X-ray film, digital radiography uses a digital image capture device with several other advantages: :

  • Immediate image preview and availability;
  • Elimination of costly film processing steps;
  • Wider dynamic range, which makes it more forgiving for over- and under-exposure;
  • Ability to apply special image processing techniques that enhance overall display of the image.

Panoramic radiography

Also called PAN or Panorex, panoramic radiography facilitates diagnostics and allows the capture of the entire mouth in a single image, including the teeth, upper and lower jaws, surrounding structures and tissues.

Cephalometric radiography

Cephalometric radiography, also called CEPH, is a diagnostic radiograph used primarily for orthodontic treatment planning.

Diode laser

Soft tissue diode laser has many applications. It is used to treat gum disease, operculectomy and gingivectomy. This laser is ideal as a simultaneous cutting and coagulating instrument which translates into treatments with less trauma, increased healing, and faster patient recovery. It is also used for treat pain and improve healing for canker sore, herpetic lesions, aphthous ulcers of the oral mucosa.

Intraoral camera

We use the intraoral camera primarily to allow patients to visualize the interior of their mouth, on a real-time screen or photos. This greatly facilitates explanations to patients who therefore fully understand the treatments they need.

CEREC restorations

CEREC technology is a CAD/CAM ceramic restoration technology which takes a digital image of the damaged tooth and creates a restoration that fits perfectly in the patient’s mouth. The technology produces an aesthetic restoration in only one appointment. From scanning to delivery, patients receive a customized permanent restoration in two to three hours.
